Mortgage-free rental

As part of a marital split I received a rental property which has no mortgage on it. Is it wise to rent out a property that has no mortgage?

There is no issue here about renting this out at all. But I would recommend having a good chat to a property accountant to see if they have any recommendations on how best you should structure this.
